It was nice. My second time there. Since it was still nice and warm at that time, we sat outside in the beer garden. Service was great. Mega friendly. Point deduction, the starter was unfortunately forgotten. As compensation, there was a drink on the house. But would have preferred the starter ...

A restaurant that probably only lives from the reputation of bygone times. Food lovelessly impresses neither visually nor in terms of taste. Sauces & dips are definitely not homemade. Service and location are good, but not the overall picture.

Delicious food, good service, sitting outside under the greenery, in the city center but still a quiet place. Gutes Essen, gute Operating, schöner Biergarten, stadtmitte aber but ruhiger Lage.

Radler and Spezi without carbonic acid, bread basket with aioli was more like baguette slices with majo. Salad with the schnitzel soaking wet, but without dressing. Schnitzel half burnt, of course the burnt side simply turned down. Cream sauce very sweet and spaetzle totally overcooked. The only positive thing was the really friendly service.

The location is easy to reach. It's easy to find and friendly. Only the (female) service gives it 3 stars. The food was really just OK. The Lohmann is said to be known for its schnitzel, but unfortunately they weren't the best. The shrimp spagetti was also below average. I had to add a lot of salt and found the price inadequate for the taste. We were asked by a man (dear owner / tenant) if it tasted good and then my shaking head in the negative was simply ignored. However, I found the history of the location at the beginning of the menu very exciting and would have liked a slightly higher quality menu.

Exceptionally good service .... we had reserved a table, were taken to our seat without delay and were able to relax immediately. All employees up to the managing director looked after us in a friendly, attentive and very quick manner. Both our drinks and the schnitzel variations were quick at our table, even though the restaurant and beer garden were full to the last table. All evening we were looked after very well. We look forward to the next time. P.S. The food was delicious. ?

Central location to the city of Kassel. Small pretty beer garden. Large selection of different Schnitzelvarianten and other things from the German kitchen. Good quality (Schnitzel very crisp). Short waiting times and a super nice staff. Average price-performance ratio.

Very good food and service. There's also a lovely garden to sit in. We both had the schnitzel and they were huge! They have several long benches to accommodate larger parties and by the looks of it, they would probably do a good job. Highly recommended.

Favourite when in Kassel. Great Schnitzel menu, and of course all the wheat beers. Great in the summer when you can sit outside, but cosey inside in the winter too.

When it's full, it gets very loud. Pubs atmosphere and hearty food are expected here, but that's exactly what I had expected. Food was delicious.

we were there with a group of about 30 blind people and a few guides. all staff was super helpful, friendly and patient. the food was tasty and the portions generous. Ambience is rustic, but/and homely. I recommend this place for groups and in general for a good dinner.

Nice fresh kitchen. Also nice German Biergarten. Food: Salad, BBQ, Schnitzel etc. Service ok. Always a good solution to go to specially during summer time.

Very nice and cosy place. I was fortunate to visit when it wasn't crowded although I can certainly see it can be. Very nice ambience in the evening with the soft glows from the standing lamps and the warm light from the interior. White LED lights in the tentage could be changed to warm yellow, for better matching ambience. Food and service is good. Waiter advised me not to order the appetizer since I've already ordered the Lohmann Schnitzel, warning me that the portion is big. Fortunately I listened to him. The Lohmann Schnitzel portion was most certainly large and coupled with the cheese and ham topping, it doesn't fail to fill you up. Delicious, warm, crusty but not dry, it is most certainly one of the best meals I've ever had in Germany. Most excellent and I look forward to visiting them again.

We tried the wienerschnitzel and it was good. A very large portion of schnitzel and fries. We recommend the option to swap the fries for the traditional panfried potatoes as they tasted better. The staff was very super friendly.

Maybe it was just a bad day. After I waited 45 minutes for my lunch, I have received a very dry and overcooked main course. The other customers were very happy with their meals, though and they also looked very good.

Very big tiramisu. Lots of chips big portions.
